Good Dog Carl

Good Dog Carl by Alexandra Day

The Carl series of books (we have 7 different titles in our Learning Hub) are what are called ‘almost wordless picture books.’ This means that there are just a few words at the beginning of the book setting up the story and the rest of the book consists of rich illustrations that tell the story. Wordless picture books are strong resources for children who are just beginning to retell stories because they can make up their own words to go with the pictures. In addition, they are great for older readers as it helps them develop their storytelling skills. Come on in and check out one of our many Carl books!
